The Annual Philadelphia Inter-Communal Giveback is an annual not-for profit event that focuses on feeding and clothing individuals and families in need from as many communities in the Philadelphia area as our funds & donations will allow. We use our charitable efforts within the community to encourage others to give back as well. Over the years, we have been able to feed and clothe over 5000 families. We are confident that by expanding our partnerships, we will surpass our previous totals yearly and help additional families in need.

Each year we host an annual clothing drive (with free new and gently used clothing), community feast and concert in a different community area.. For our 2014 event held in December, we also added workshops for adults that focused on financial wellness, computer literacy and self-defense. We also had activities for children such as a dance class, photo booth and workshops held by the Philadelphia 76ers and the Philadelphia Flyers Alumni. Our 2014 event helped provide new clothing, a healthy meal and a day of family fun for over 750 people in the West Oak Lane community of Philadelphia.

Our goal, in line with our organization’s mission, is to encourage community cooperation, philanthropy, education and enhance the quality of life for all of those involved. We believe that the third party entities involved in the event are equally as important in uplifting the spirits of our guests as those organizing this event.
